There are no specific criteria for the types of purchase or activity for which a request may be made, although the Chamber does place a high priority on supporting young people to learn and develop both socially and academically. Grants may be requested, for example as a contribution towards the cost of a specific student learning activity such as purchasing an expensive text book or other academic aid or as a contribution towards the cost of travel for a period of academic study overseas.

Local organisations may apply for a grant or a loan from the Chamber of Feoffees. These are intended to provide and act as ‘pump priming’ for organisations to seek additional sources of funding.
